triangleObjectives

    The objective of this task is to provide portable, efficient and interactive software for simulating and visualising the internal log structure and the products saw out of the log.

    The first aim was to improve the functionality of the existing EPIFN software in terms of model quality, interface ergonomics and interactions and to allow multiple platform versions. 

    The second one consists in establishing new methods and tools to extract characteristic features of log and boards from CT scanned log images and visualise them in 3D.
